Actor Biography

Cierra Ramirez is turning heads in Hollywood with the recent release of Freeform's spinoff and critically acclaimed television series "Good Trouble." Ramirez's role as Mariana takes her from the brilliant performance as teen Mariana on Freeform's long-running show "The Foster's" and spins her into adulthood and independence.

Ramirez is expanding her career in the entertainment industry as one of the executive producers of "Good Trouble" and making her way in other realms as well. Ramirez took it back to her roots and burst her way back into the music scene in 2018 with the release of her hit singles and music videos, "Bad Boys" and "Faded," which combined, have over 6 million views on YouTube. In 2018, she also starred as the lead in Lifetime's made-for-television movie, "Drink, Slay, Love."

Ramirez began her career at the young age of 7, performing in singing showcases and stunning people with her abilities. At the age of 10, she made her first television appearance as the opening act on "Showtime at the Apollo."

Ramirez is an award-winning and seasoned actress with other film credits including the lead role in the coming-of-age drama "Girl in Progress," opposite Eva Mendes as her mother. Her performance won her an Alma and Imagen Award for Best Supporting Actress. She was also recognized by the NHFA, in the category of Outstanding Performance of a Latin Actress. Ramirez was recognized early in her career as an up-and-coming star for her recurring roles as Jasmine on Disney Channel's "The Sweet Life of Zack and Cody" and Kathy on the acclaimed ABC Family series "The Secret Life of the American Teenager." She also landed the lead role of Stella in the Nickelodeon television movie "Star and Stella Save the World" and made appearances in the series "Desperate Housewives," "Zoey 101," and "CSI: Miami." She made her feature film debut in "All In," starring Dominique Swain and Michael Madsen.
