2. Formatta Filler then dynamically generates a Dual Dimension symbol incorporating all the form data. This data is protected by an encryption algorithm that can only be deciphered by the original form author.
3. The completed form prints on any deskjet or laser printer, together with the symbol.
4. The person signs the paper form and sends it via surface mail (e.g., postal service).
5. The form author (i.e., the company who created the form) receives the paper filing. Using a standard scanner and Formatta Server, the agency captures all the form data instantaneously - without data entry and without optical character recognition.

Dual Dimension Encryption 

Formatta's Dual Dimension barcode data is encrypted using Formatta encryption. The internal Diffie-Hellman key exchange is supplied with a random password that is discarded, so only the lock password specified by the form author can decrypt the data. What this means in a practical sense is what was once a blank piece of paper is now a valid document which can be authenticated by the form author.
