Formatta Announces E-Forms Workflow Software

New rules-based engine for e-form routing, approvals, and notifications

Fairfax, VA - July 19, 2007 - Formatta Corporation today announced the release of Formatta Workflow, its new, optional workflow component for E-Forms Manager and E-Forms Director. This addition to the Formatta suite of e-form automation products enables dramatic reductions in cycle times for both internal and external data collection and approval processes. A key feature of Formatta Workflow is the ability for the e-form and process notifications to be "pushed" to additional users and reviewers based on customized business process rules. Importantly, these rules can even be driven by the information provided in each individual e-form. Formatta Workflow, in combination with Formatta’s single-certificate digital signing, allows E-Forms Manager and Director to rapidly re-engineer businesses processes using existing technology infrastructure.

The release of Formatta Workflow is a milestone event. With the addition of Workflow to the E-Forms Manager suite, its rapid deployment capability is expanded to full automation of the data collection process. As with the other features of E-Forms Manager, this can be achieved quickly and with no programming. By combining Formatta’s Workflow with its patent-pending digital signing technology, users can now route any kind of document - New Account Forms, Purchase/Expenditure Requests, and Personnel Action Forms - collecting the necessary approvals without the need to ever print the form to collect a signature. And, as always, there are no end-user licensing costs for form-filling software, workflow, and digital signing.

Formatta’s two other products complete the e-forms suite. Formatta Designer is a robust e-forms design tool that allows most forms to be built in hours, including the addition of data verifications, calls to profiles or databases to automatically fill in known data, bubble tips, and digital signatures.
